Esha Mendiratta

Assistant Professor of International Business

Esha’s research focuses on the intersection of corporate strategy, corporate governance and international business.

Esha Mendiratta is an Assistant Professor of International Business at Vlerick. Her research is on the intersection of corporate strategy, corporate governance and international business.

She particularly focuses on the composition of boards of directors and top management teams – and the impact this can have on companies. She believes that strategic choices made by companies are fundamentally a function of the people making those decisions.

Esha is also interested in diversity within teams and firms, focusing specifically on gender, cultural and ethnic diversity – and has worked on policies to improve the representation of minorities at management level.

Before joining Vlerick, Esha spent over six years as an Assistant Professor at the University of Groningen, Netherlands. She also worked in a global management consulting firm for over five years, where she worked with Fortune 500 multinationals.

At Vlerick, Esha teaches international business on the Full-time MBA, Online MBA and Executive MBA.
