Ester Van Haute

Ester Van Haute is a senior researcher in the technology and operations management field at Vlerick. She’s also involved in the Vlerick Healthcare Management Centre, where she collaborates closely with Professors Brecht Cardoen and Walter Van Dyck.

Her current research focuses on patient experience in the evolution towards digitised care. Before this, she carried out research on the changing environment of Belgian hospitals and the decision-making processes around investing in hospitals.

Before her academic career, Ester worked in the pharmaceutical industry for several years. She integrates her practical experience and insight into her research.
