Stijn Viaene

Stijn Viaene is passionate about what it means to successfully create a digital enterprise – and capturing the value that comes from using technology including big data, analytics, social media, mobile computing, internet of things and the cloud. His research and teaching focus on information systems management issues in digital innovation and transformation, business and IT alignment, and business process management. He’s involved in multiple research initiatives with industry and public sector partners and his work has been published in renowned academic journals. Stijn loves writing and teaching with cases. He is the author of the book, Digital Transformation Know How: Connecting digital transformation, agility and leadership.

At Vlerick, Stijn teaches on the MBA and Masters programmes, the Executive Development Programme and the Digital Leadership and Mastering IT Management programmes. He also teaches Digital Transformation on several company-specific programmes. Stijn is Programme Director of Take The Lead.
