On 11 March, the Great Place To Work® Institute Belgium has once again announced Belgium's Best Workplaces™ at an awards show in Brussels. The results are based on an employee survey conducted at the organisations concerned, carried out by the Great Place To Work® Institute Belgium in cooperation with Vlerick Business School. The award show is supported by our media partners Jobat, Références and HTag, and by our event partner #ZigZagHR.
The Great Place To Work® Institute looks at organisations through two lenses. First, the employee survey examines how employees perceive the credibility, respect, honesty, pride and sense of camaraderie displayed by their managers within their respective companies. Second, the Cultural Audit evaluates the organisation's employer policy.
The Best Workplaces are characterised by a high level of trust, combined with meaningful values and impactful leadership. This in turn results in increased innovation, productivity and financial growth. In addition to having a well-integrated diversity policy as part of a sound corporate culture, the focus is now increasingly on displaying good leadership qualities. The results from the European Workforce Study, published earlier this year, also show that good leadership has a direct impact on productivity and (employee) performance.

Koen Dewettinck, CEO of Great Place To Work Belgium and Professor of Human Resources Management at Vlerick Business School: ‘The Best Workplaces in Belgium distinguish themselves from other companies in many different areas. When we look at the overarching trends across all the Best Workplaces of 2025, there are three things that stand out. Firstly, these organisations all place great emphasis on the individual. This translates into training opportunities, personal development plans and even benefits specifically tailored to what each individual needs to develop to their full potential. In addition, these companies are not afraid to explore the benefits of AI tools. They focus on getting the most out of their talent, enabling them to work with AI with both confidence and increased productivity. Finally, we are seeing a more holistic approach to welfare. These companies, rather than simply rolling out welfare policies, count welfare as an integral part of their entire corporate mindset.”
