What do the scholarships cover? 

MBA scholarships cover up to:

Scholarships do not include the cost of accommodation, visa or flights on (international) study/immersion trips (if applicable). 

Who can apply? 

  • You hold an undergraduate (bachelor’s) or master’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • You have a minimum of 4 years of post-degree, full-time professional work experience
  • You are committed to joining the Executive MBA, European Executive MBA or Online Executive MBA programmes.

How to apply?

  • Complete your application pack on apply.vlerick.com and pass the Vlerick Business School Admissions Test (VBAT). Candidates can only be eligible to apply for a scholarship after admission.
  • Once admitted, select the scholarship path of your choice and request the application pack via your MBA customer relationship manager or grants@vlerick.com.
  • A scholarship application consists of 2 elements:
    • Record a brief video pitch of max. 2 minutes, in which you explain the qualities that make you a competitive candidate for your chosen scholarship path.
    • Answer the questions in the application pack in any format of your choice (written text, video, presentation,…)
  • Complete and submit your scholarship application via grants@vlerick.com before one of the scholarship deadlines (see below).

Please note you can only apply for a scholarship before the start of the programme of your choice. Once the academic year has started, your application will no longer be considered. 

You can apply only once for a Vlerick Business School MBA scholarship. Additional applications will not be considered.

It is not possible to combine multiple scholarship paths. 

Selection process

Scholarship applications are evaluated comprehensively. The scholarship committee will assess your overall profile, including your VBAT test scores and the strength of your application and your video pitch.

Candidates will be notified personally. Scholarships can only be awarded after successfully completing all steps of the application process.

  • Final deadline of 2024: 8 December 2024 at 23:59
  • Announcement of grant beneficiaries: by 13 December 2024 at 23:59

2025

  • Round 1: 12 January 2025 at 23:59
    • Announcement of grant beneficiaries: by 17 January 2025
  • Round 2: 27 April 2025 at 23:59
    • Announcement of grant beneficiaries: by 6 May 2025
  • Round 3: 22 June 2025 at 23:59
    • Announcement of grant beneficiaries: by 27 June 2025
  • Round 4: 24 August 2025 at 23:59
    • Announcement of grant beneficiaries: by 29 August 2025
  • Round 5: 28 September 2025 at 23:59
    • Announcement of grant beneficiaries: by 3 October 2025
  • Round 6: 7 December 2025 at 23:59
    • Announcement of grant beneficiaries: by 12 December 2025
